SAN ANDRES ISLAND TRIP

The San Andres Island Trip is a tour that introduces us to the San Andres Archipelago, where Providencia and Santa Catalina are also part.

San Andrés is the largest in the archipelago and also in Colombia, the keys and the coral reef with crystal clear water and white sand, make it a true jewel of the colombian caribbean.

The arrival on the island is preceded by a visit to the city of Bogotá and its colonial beauties, such as the Gold Museum, Botero Museum, De La Moneda Museum and Monserrate. But once we arrive at San Andrés Islands we just have to relax and enjoy the Caribbean beauties and the joy of the islanders who will receive us making us feel at home.

The San Andres Island Package includes 2 excursions, the first by sea, which will allow us to discover the Bay the Mangroves of the Lagoon, the famous Johnny Cay, the Hines Aquarium Cay, the Little Pool and the encounter with the Giant Mantas.

It is the second land route with a Chiva Tipica, which will take us around the island, making us discover the culture and daily life of the islanders.

1° DAY / Bogotá:

Arrival in the afternoon at the El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, once the airport procedures are completed, we meet our assistants and leave for the transfer in private and comfortable vehicles to the San Francisco De Asís hotel (duration 20 minutes approx.). The hotel is located in La Candelaria, a few steps from the historic center, which is always super busy until late at night with a wide range of restaurants and nightclubs where you can dine (free not included) or simply relax in a typical local of the center. Return to the hotel in the evening.

2° DAY / Bogotá:

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and after a few minutes we find ourselves in the Candelaria pedestrian area that will take us to the Museo Del Oro (duration 10 minutes approx.). At the end we continue until we reach Plaza De Bolívar (duration 10 minutes approx.), We enter the Historic Center where we find the Museo Botero and the adjacent Museo De La Moneda (duration 10 minutes approx.). Lunch (free not included) in one of the many typical restaurants in the Casco Histórico In the early afternoon we visit Monserrate, accessible by cable car or funicular, where we can have dinner (free not included), enjoying the sunset and a wonderful panorama.

3° DAY / Bogotá - San Andrés:

After breakfast, our vans will be waiting for us to take us to the El Dorado National Airport in Bogotá (duration 20 minutes approx.), To take the flight Bogotá-San Andrés (duration 2 hours and 30 minutes approx.). We arrive in the early afternoon to this wonderful island immersed in the Caribbean Sea, where our vans will be waiting to take us to the Cocoplum Beach hotel (duration approx. 15 minutes). We quickly settle into the room and can immediately dive into the pool or go to the beach, adjacent to the hotel. At night we can decide whether to have dinner (free not included) at the hotel or in a nearby restaurant and then return to the hotel late at night.

4° 5° 6° 7° DAY / San Andrés:

After breakfast, we went on a boat excursion to take a tour in the Bay and among the Mangroves of the lagoon, we visited the famous Johnny Cay, the Aquarium Hines Cay and finally we met the Giant Mantas. The next day, we left for another excursion, to get to know the center of the island and its culture with a city tour of San Andrés in a Chiva Típica and a visit to the Casa Museo Isleña. In the remaining days of our stay, we can only relax on the beach or in the pool and enjoy this wonderful caribbean island.

8° DAY / San Andrés - Bogotá:

Early in the morning, we go to Gustavo Rojas Pinilla International Airport (duration 20 minutes approx.) To take the flight San Andrés-Bogotá (2 hours and 30 minutes approx.), Where our assistants will be waiting for us to check-in of the international flight that will take us back.
